The story

Two dreamers, one estate.

Carol and Greg Marion have been dreamers for over 35 years. Long before they were married, they would walk hand in hand, sharing ideas and imagining what life could become. Like many dreams, most quietly floated by — but one stayed.

They once launched a full-service wedding planning business, helping couples create unforgettable celebrations — from the invitations to the honeymoon. While the business itself didn't last, something meaningful did: their connection to beautiful venues, including the unforgettable Wrexham Hall.

They fell in love with its character, its history, and its place in the community. It felt like everything they had imagined — but at the time, it wasn't meant to be.

Life moved forward. They raised three children, built careers, and continued dreaming together. Then in 2016, everything changed.

"A friend mentioned that Wrexham Hall was for sale."

They toured it. It needed work — but to Greg, who could fix anything, it felt possible. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it happen at the time, and once again, the dream slipped away.

But this time… not for long.

Not long after, Carol connected with the new owners who had plans to renovate and potentially repurpose the home. Knowing what Wrexham meant to the community, she stepped in — sharing its story, its legacy, and its importance.

What followed was a year and a half of persistence, collaboration, and belief. Eventually, Carol and Greg were given a lease-to-own opportunity — not just for the house, but for their dream.

In December of 2020, they officially became the owners of Wrexham Hall.

The Reopening

The community came calling.

Almost immediately, something remarkable happened.

As soon as they listed a new phone number, calls began coming in — people asking about weddings, sharing memories, and recalling their own experiences at Wrexham Hall. It was clear: this home wasn't just a venue. It was part of the community's story.

So they listened.

They reopened Wrexham Hall as an event space, with the full support of the local zoning board and community leaders. Since then, the Hall has welcomed everything from weddings and quinceañeras to baby showers, anniversary celebrations, Christmas parties, and even community events like town halls and charity gatherings.

One of their earliest weddings was inspired by the movie UP — a story about love, dreams, and a life shared together. It felt fitting.

Because in many ways, Wrexham Hall is that story.

Today, Carol and Greg continue to pour their hearts into every event hosted at Wrexham Hall — creating a space that feels warm, personal, and unforgettable.

When you visit, you're not just booking a venue. You're stepping into a dream that never gave up.

And if you're lucky… you might still find them there — walking hand in hand, dreaming about what's next.
